About 6 years now...
... is when it all started. I flew back from Vancouver listening to two people discuss how the blogosphere had gone corporate. How in the early days people did it just to do it and didn't get into it for money or fame. Just a release from the doldrums of a boring day at work where one could release upon the huddle masses of the internet their thoughts, views, and the occasional recipe.
6 years have come and gone, many of the old readers here are now considered friends. Others have moved on while others have become facebook buddies and decidedly "like" every photo I post up on there. That's kind of scary really.

-Spread that Preen anti-weed stuff onto newly overturned garden
-Designed a new beer label
-Went surfing

-Bend metal rods with my bare hands
-Figure out a way to use ice hockey blades on asphault
-Skateboard the entire length of the Great Wall of China
-Get into a fight in a pub in the Irish countryside
-Fly to Mars and back, hell infinite space travel period
-Pitch in the Major Leagues
-A Victoria's Secret model
-Fart and have it smell like spring flowers... or Key Lime Pie
